main collection which forms the backbone of
the library is spread in two big halls of
the lower floor. In one hall,the middle portion
holds books in linguistics. The first portion
has books from generalia to history . The
last portion contains books such as textbooks
in Indian languages, tribal languages, special
collection such as Indian |

literature
in translation, children's literature, adult
education / primers, sahitya academy documents,etc.,
The other hall portion accommodate the Indian
languages documents such as Hindi, Bengali,
Assamese. All the books have been barcoded
and available in the VTLS database. etc. |
