Dravidian Studies is one more step forward in the furtherance of the main objectives of the Dravidian University. Making use of this Quarterly as a forum, the University intend,s.tobring about a fuller understanding of the relationship among all the Dravidian languages, literature and culture. As an advanced Research Centre, the University has many ambitious programmes to create an ideal academic atmosphere particularly for the scholars who are engaged in the study and higher research in Dravidology. This kind of forum would facilitate the scholars and researchers to take up manifold research activities leading to indepth cross-cultural studies; there by wider comparative methodologies can also be worked out by their valuable contributions.
